A Different Approach To General Contracting
Flow State Contracting and Consulting is built around a straightforward belief: good construction comes from focused work, careful planning, and respect for the craft.

A Tradition Of Hard Work
Flow State is led by an honorably discharged U.S. Army Infantry veteran who served with the 10th Mountain Division and comes from a long family line of tradesmen.
Growing up around skilled labor created an early respect for craftsmanship, personal responsibility, and the value of doing your share. Military service added another layer of discipline, preparation, and attention to detail.
Those experiences continue to shape the way Flow State approaches construction today. The goal is not simply to complete the work, but to stay engaged, solve problems thoughtfully, and take pride in what is left behind.
Focused Work. Better Construction.
The name Flow State reflects the mindset behind the company. Every construction task has a process, and finding the right system allows the work to move with greater focus, consistency, and control.
That approach guides how we plan projects, work on site, and respond when challenges arise.
-
We stay closely involved in the work instead of managing projects from a distance.
-
We pay attention to the details that influence strength, function, and finished appearance.
-
We look for practical systems that keep construction organized and purposeful.
-
We bring the physical capability and experience needed for substantial exterior structures and demanding builds.

Comfortable Taking On Work That Requires More
Flow State has developed a strong interest in large exterior structures and construction projects that demand careful planning, physical presence, and confident execution.
From new construction and home renovations to barns, barndominiums, decks, sunrooms, siding, windows, doors, and hardscapes, each project is approached according to the needs of the property.
Rather than forcing every job into the same process, we take the time to understand the structure, the intended use, and the finished vision before determining the right way forward.
Craftsmanship With Personal Accountability
Construction is personal when your name is attached to the finished work. That is why Flow State places value on being present, staying accountable, and treating every project with the care it deserves.
Our work is guided by:
-
A disciplined approach shaped by military service and years around the trades.
-
Hands on involvement throughout the construction process.
-
Respect for good labor, durable materials, and thoughtful workmanship.
-
Clear attention to the needs of the property and the people who will use it.
-
A commitment to standing behind completed tradework.
